The Butterfly Life of Wings

A caterpillar develops in a dark cocoon and seemingly overnight turns into a beautiful butterfly!

A butterfly just flies, it doesn’t wait for anything around it to give it permission to fly; it’s got its wings now and so it flies beautifully and freely around the earth, amongst the flowers.

Butterflies are free. But where did they get their strength to be so wonderful and free?!

Butterflies spent time in the dark cocoon, growing, learning and being prepared.

And just like that, overnight what looked like a worm, turns into the most majestic and wonderful of all the bugs that exist.

Every other bug flying around cannot compare to the butterfly in its grace and poise and that’s because it spent time in the darkness. If you are spending a lot of time in the darkness, know that your life has something beautiful and wonderful in store.

If you are in a dark moment, I invite you to realize that this could be a time of personal growth, preparing you for your WINGS!

It's hard to see the light out of the tunnel, but what if everything you learn in this seemingly dark situation was preparing you for your true mission and calling?

How could the ugly worm-like caterpillar transform into something so majestic, graceful, beautiful with poise? Seemingly impossible? Seemingly overnight?

But isn’t this like so many things in nature? There is a time for everything on this earth (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

It’s the time spent in the darkness that prepares us for our greatest light!

And just like that, just like how a tiny seed gets water, rich soil, and blooms into a beautiful rose, so your life can bloom if you take faith and believe your wings are on their way right to you.

It’s time to fly away into who you really are!

Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. -Martin Luther

In every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater opportunity. -Napoleon Hill

Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. -Psalm 126:5
